A beautiful art exhibit by Danish Artist Kirsten Bøgn will open on December 8 and be on display to the end of January, 2026.

In her exhibition called “Mod Lyset.” Kirsten Bøgh explores hope and light through her paintings. She enjoys working with warm, bright and cheerful volors that create a felling of “Hygge”, comfort and a sense of belonging.

Kirsten i fascinated by everyday objects around us and enjoys painting interior settings and elements in the home such as chairs, tables, plants and bouquets of flowers. The floral elements in her works represent the organic and wild, used decoratively in domestic spaces. Kirstne is inspired by patterns from faraway lands such as those in Persian rugs, as she seeks to blend Estern and Western traditions in new ways. In some works, Kirsten employs the Persian motifs as subtle undertones and as clear visual elements in others.
