Alcoholics Anonymous “Sober Start”
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
The Danish Lutheran Church offers a place of solace and support. Please contact pastor Anne-Grethe for more info on meeting date/time.
HIS OC - Homeless Intervention Center
Homeless Intervention Services of Orange County (HIS-OC) currently runs four programs that assist people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. Our shelters and supportive service programs provide assistance to our community’s most vulnerable population. HIS-OC does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.
Life Line Screening
Life Line Screening is a company that offers various health screenings, including those for stroke and cardiovascular disease risks, and they do conduct screenings in various community locations, including churches.
Scout Troop 733 Yorba Linda
Scout Troop 733 are scouts from Yorba Linda, Fullerton, Placentia, Brea and Anaheim. The Troop meets on Tuesdays from 7 – 8:30 pm and it a committed group of Scouts and Scouters, boy-led and organized to maximize the scouting experience with a solid well rounded program of outdoor adventures, Scouting advancement and community service. Troop 733 provides for over 20 nights of camping each year, and they participate in a week-long Summer Camp.
